I decided to enter this adorable guy: Pepe the penguin. Isn't he stunning in blue?

It was a hard decision. I was really torn between the lion and the penguin, but of the ones I had already made, I liked the penguin best.
So after much waiting, not so patiently, I just found out that I won! I won a $100 gift card to Hancock Fabrics (it was their contest) and am now entered in the grand prize national contest. Keep your fingers crossed for me and Pepe. In the mean time I'll continue daydreaming about what I'll spend my $100 on at Hancock...

New Year, New Ideas

With the new year I have been given a new opportunity. I have been presented with a contest for making adorable things with fleece. I want to enter, but can't decide which hat is most likely to win. I'm partial to the lion and the penguin... the monkey is also very cute... the pirate is a high seller... I just don't know. Which would you choose?
